Last year, I relocated from my beloved New York City to my new home in Chicago. But, who says I have to miss out on the fun events of NYC summer. They say Memorial day marks the unofficial start of summer time, but the Veuve Clicquot Polo Classic is when I say it really begins.
You know how it is - when you live somewhere you think you have endless opportunities to experience the locale. Despite my living in New York for close to three years and though on my bucket list, I did not make my attendance at the VCPC a priority. However, this year I was missing my friends and feeling a little sad about missing all the shenanigans that were going to take place this year. I decided that I had to go. Besides, it was also the 10th anniversary since the concept began in New York. Could it have been a better time?
There is nothing more bad & boujee than going to VCPC with your friends, getting drunk off champagne and getting on bad at the most fabulous picnic you might experience. I had a marvelous time.
